My research primarily focuses on ocean circulation dynamics and its role in polar climate change. Specifically, I investigate the dynamics of the Southern Ocean, global impacts of glacial melt, atmosphere-ice-ocean interactions in polar regions, and tropical-to-polar teleconnections. My work utilizes observational data from satellites and profiling floats in the context of ocean state estimates and state-of-the-art models. For more information, please check out my Google Scholar.
I welcome inquiries from prospective students and postdocs interested in joining my research group. Please feel free to contact me for further details.
